So what does this amazing day look like? You'll have an early start, travelling along one of the longest roads in Australia: the Stuart Highway. Passing by stunning terrain, we make our way onto Arnhem HIghway where the Marrakai Plains create a spectacular setting for this roadtrip... Destination? Kakadu, with it's 19,800 square kilometres, the largest National Park in Australia!
With its diverse landscape, hundreds of bird species, thousands of different insects and plants and a concentration of Aboriginal rock art sites, this truly is a magical place... With this tour you'll get to wander around the Nourlangie rock art site, a place that has provided shelter to indigenous people for thousands of years. The rock was a canvas for their spiritual culture, all of which you can discover during the 1.5km walk around the base of the rock.
Next up, it's time for some lunch before you join your local guide for a crocodile cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong. Keep your eyes open during your journey on these stunning yellow waters, 'cause they're home to thousands of saltwater crocodiles. On top of that there's up to 60 species of colourful and majestic birdlife to be discovered during your cruise.
On top of all that, we visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to introduce you to the way of life of the Bininj people, the custodians of Kakadu National Park.

Our tour sets off on the Arnhem Highway across the Adelaide River and Marrakai Plains. Stop at Nourlangie Rock, where your Guide will lead a walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art.
After lunch we join our local guide for a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong.
Search for saltwater crocodiles and the colourful range of birdlife for which this region is renowned.
Visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre and view the informative displays depicting the traditions of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu, before returning to Darwin.L
